The workshops include yoga and
breathing, lectures, posturing
techniques and meditations.
These workshops will teach you how
to scientifically perform yoga
exercises, how to reduce stress,
have a healthy body and a wholesome
spirit. There will be demonstrations
on practical yoga techniques to help
improve ones posture. Great
attention will be given to detail,
with special emphasis on inner
movements while in the posture. The
students will be taught how to make
internal changes without
compromising on the posture.
Swami Kripananda has studied yoga in
India under the direct tutelage of
Mr. BKS Iyengar of “Iyengar Yoga”.
His classes stretch across 5
continents around the globe. He
presently resides in Ojai,
California and still travels
extensively teaching the art of yoga
to people in different walks of
life. He also holds a degree in
Wellness and Fitness from State
University of New York.
COST OF COURSES
The cost of these workshops is
determined by the number of
attendees and the distance traveled
by the instructor. It varies from
$45 to $75 per student.
REQUIREMENTS
Students may need to bring along a
Yoga Mat. Some studios and yoga
centers provide the mats and props
that are required for the practice.
They should bring a good-sized towel
with them and wear loose comfortable
clothing.

There are retreat centers in New
York, California, Toronto, and
several other places in the US and
abroad where details can be worked
out for groups of participants
interested in traveling to special
places for workshops / weekend yoga
retreats.
